In drunken haze

I look into my earthly lover´s face

In hopes to see You...

My body opens for my lover´s touch

In hopes that You will touch me

Through him...

How can I admit this deepest of my secrets to him?

That I am with him only to be with You?

Never before has my Beloved stood so clearly in front of me.

No longer seduced by the costumes that only bring

grief and pain.

I look beyond to You

And see, that You are already and always with me.

You cannot leave. Because You are everywhere. You are All There Is.

And I can see how I have kept You away,

Kept you at a distance -

Even though the distance has been less than a blink of an eye.

Because for a long time now I have known You...

But that final merging of us into ONE, I have kept it away

Because I wanted to make love to You,

I wanted to touch You,

I wanted to feel You.

I admit that I have been deeply attached to the dance of Lovers

Between us

But in Your True Love for me You have served one painful love affaire after another;

So that I may finally let go of my attachment and allow Us

To dissolve into each other.

You are in Me and I am in You.

No longer apart. No longer dancing the dance of Lovers.

Merged together in the Ocean of Stillness.
